Description & Services

Information Antigonish Skatepark is at 42 West St. in Antigonish with StFX University on one side and the Antigonish Police detachment on the other. This build was a coordinated the effort involving the Town of Antigonish, The Municipality of the County of Antigonish, St. F.X University and local Antigonish Businesses and the citizens of Antigonish. ​This is a family-friendly Skatepark that welcomes all ages. We wanted our park to be front and center in the public so it would have the most eyes on it and we want to celebrate and showcase Antigonish athletes and youth. It's in a highly visible area, close to the schools, close to food and drink on James Street, and is 11,000 sq/ft with lots of green space and benches surrounding the park. Skatepark Guidelines:
  • Please follow all current covid related public health guidelines.
  • Wear appropriate gear
  • Adult present for those under 10 years old
  • Lights will be turned off at 9:30 pm
  • No tagging/grafitti - you will be fined
  • No alcohol or illegal drugs allowed
  • Beware of wet/icy conditions at ride with caution
  • Be respectful of all users at the skatepark
  • Be responsible for your own equipment to prevent loss
  • Stay on the sidelines if you are watching
  • Do not use damaged equipment, phone 902-863-2351 to report
  • In event of an emergency, call 9-1-1
