The tearoom is host to traditional Acadian lunches each Friday during the summer months (July and August) and two Lobster Roll Dinners in August and September.

The Interpretive Centre outlines the history of Pomquet from its geological origins, to its ecology and its first inhabitants (the Mi'kmaq), to its settlement by Acadians and its evolution as a community.

The outdoor stage, attached to the Interpretive Centre, provides a venue for local entertainment.

The trailhead for the Pomquet Acadian Trails is located on site. The trail system is a 6 km stacked loop coastal trail with commanding views of George's Bay and Cape Breton Island.
